The new 4CC has better
specifications!
The specifications of the 4CC, the excellent paper for
digital print, has now been upgraded. The
whole product range of this improved 4CC will
become available at BookmarkDirect
in October 2005.
The uncoated 'Premium' version
has been made whiter moving from a CIE whiteness
coefficient of 150 to 160. The whiter hue enhances the
print contrast and makes images look more vivid.
In addition the surface of the thicker
(heavier) papers have been made smoother to enable more even
colour reproduction, specially in solid areas of print.
New 4CC (or 4CC+ as it is
nicknamed) will be packed in film
wrappers which give better protection to the paper,
ensuring it is in perfect condition for use. The
wrappers have re-sealable labels specially designed to
make it easy to open and re-seal the reams.
In order to conform to user requirements
the the 120gsm paper will replace 130gsm, 190gsm will
change to 200 and 270gsm will will change to 280gsm.
The coated versions of 4CC which
is available in Gloss and Silk coatings
have also been upgraded. The paper have been made both
whiter at 133 CIE (previously at 115 CIE) and stiffer.
This has resulted in outstanding runnability due the
stiffness, and improved print contrast thanks to the
whiter hue.
The respective thicknesses (weights) of
the paper have also been altered to conform to the
demand. The new uncoated premium 4CC comes in the
following weights: 90, 100,120,160, 200, 220, 250, 280
and 300gm2. The coated 4CC comes in
120,150,220 and 270gm2. 4CC cards (coated and
uncoated) of weights over 220gm2 are produced in SRA3
size or larger but BookmarkDirect
offer a cutting service to any dimensions required.
Both the coated and uncoated new 4CC are ideal for colour dry toner based print
engines.
